How to order your cake
We accept orders via email, phone, Facebook & Instagram. Please contact us to check availability for your chosen date and discuss your cake design.
A £20 non refundable deposit is required to secure your cake booking. This deposit is taken off the final balance of your cake.
Please note that no orders are confirmed without a deposit being paid.
The booking process
Once we have confirmed our availability please let us know your ideas for the cake design, we can provide you with approximate costings and if you are happy with them a deposit will be taken to secure the booking.
Please note the initial quote is not a a final amount, if your design is altered then additional costs my apply which we will inform you of before making the amendments.
We will work with you to design your cake however if you want specific details then it is your responsibility to advise us of these, you can be as brief or detailed as you feel comfortable and can send ideas or pictures to help us with the design.
If you require alterations to your design you will need to put this in writing and may incur additional costs that you will be advised of. We will try to accommodate all alterations but sometimes this is not possible depending on the request and the amount of notice given.
We reserve the right to change the design at any point if circumstances beyond our control may compromise the quality of the finished cake.
Every cake is handmade and we will try to meet your requirements exactly as requested however sometimes a small amount of variation may occur from the design requested.
Some cakes may have non edible decorations on them and you will be advised of this. It is the customers responsibility to ensure these are removed before serving. If you have a tiered cake then non edible supports will be used in each tier and will be visable at cutting stage, these will also need to be removed.
If you need to cancel your cake order then we reserve the right to retain your non refundable deposit.
Cancellations must be made in writing to us.
We retain the right to cancel the booking in very unusual circumstances beyond our control, such as fire or ill health, we will in this instance refund any money taken in full.
Collection & Delivery
All celebration quotes are priced for collection from our home address PR2 1BF.
We do offer a delivery service when we have availability but this must be booked in advance and delivery charges do apply.
We cannot be held responsible for any damage made to a cake after it has left our property.
Your final balance of your cake order is due on collection of your cake. If you have opted for delivery then the cake must be paid for when the cake is delivered otherwise we have the right to retain the cake until the balance has been paid in full.
Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Please do let us know if you do have any special dietary requirements and we will try to accommodate where possible.
Aftercare & Best before date
Cakes should be kept in a cool area and not refrigerated as this dries the sponge out.
Your cake will be baked specifically for your order. Whilst cakes can remain fresh for 7 days we cannot accept liability if it is consumed over 72 hours after your event.
We reserve the right to use any photographs we have taken of your cake for displays or promotions without compensation to you.
If you are unhappy with your order please do let us know on delivery/collection, we will make every effort to rectify if it is within our control. If you decide to make a complaint then this must be done in writing within 7 days of the cake collection/delivery date. Please provide supporting evidence and pictures and detail so we are able to investigate.
